Opportunities for Developers and Junior Researchers

Developer position is available in the SoNet (Social Networking) research unit at Bruno Kessler Foundation, Center for Information Technology – IRST, Trento, Italy.

The successful candidate will support researchers of the group by writing Python and/or Java programs in order to test research hypotheses, and by creating simple web sites where research results are visualized.

Call for PHD positions at University of Trento with scholarship funded by FBK

Opportunities for University students (stage and thesis)

We can offer to students a friendly enviroment to challenge themselves with research topics and to learn new skills.

We have thesis and stages available in the following areas but, please, if you have another idea you would like to work on, contact us!

Network visualization, especially dynamic visualization in time
Empirical studies on social networks, such as Facebook, Wikipedia, Twitter
Social networks with an impact on real life of people, in particular in the context of carpooling (people offering ride share on their cars to each other) and collective acts and socialization (people performing acts together in real life)
